    Finished:
Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk.
I loved this book. It was so hilarious. It gave the reader insight into a world only few people know.  Definitely, I would read this again.
Next on My List:
The Road by Cormac McCarthy
I started The Road awhile ago, but I had to return the book to a friend. I’m excited to finally finish it. It’s been really good so far. Really detailed and descriptive, but McCarthy is sometime very vague about things and it leaves you wondering. I cannot wait to finish this book!!
In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan
This book has been chosen at UW-Madison for the Go Big Read program. It’s been a Indiebounf Bestseller for awhile now in Non-fiction.  Pollan has written a few other bestsellers, too. I think it will be an interesting book.
The Weight of Silence by Heather Gudenkauf
This was a Indiebound Next List Pick for August 2009. I’ve been wanting to read it ever since I read what Beth Simpson from Cornerstone Books, Salem, MA has said about it:

“The Weight of Silence is a suspenseful story of two girls who go missing that will have you turning pages late into the night, but, beyond this, it is a heartrending story of emotional ties told with gently lyrical language that belies brutal truths.”
